We are always on the lookout for brilliant stories, essays, op-eds, analysis pieces and commentary from journalists, scholars from all stages of their careers and everyone.
You can pitch us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will respond to all pitches within 3 working days.
You can read our document on Why this project exists and also an editorial on “Academic freedom in times of Covid-19” by Corona Times here, highlighting the scope and principles of our project.
Contributions will be between 800 and 1500 words. You should avoid using footnotes, and rather mention main authors and works explicitly in the texts and/or through hyperlinks as appropriate.
Contributions are considered for acceptance on the understanding that they have neither been published nor are currently being considered for publication elsewhere. Contributors must inform the editors if the work has been made public in another form or language. The Nigeria Covid-19 project is entirely voluntary and non-funded.
Published contributions are released under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence and, if republished elsewhere afterwards, should include our publication name (“The Nigeria Covid-19 project“) and the original link.
